Biography
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As an art teacher, Miller is always telling his students that being an artist is about learning how to see. The artist in him is always looking, scanning and searching for the beauty that can only be found by deeply observing, and that is what he tries to paint. He sees slowing down and noticing these beautiful and sublime moments all around us as one of the greater joys in life. These moments can be connections to something much deeper and more meaningful than the sum of their parts. It is this experience he wants to share with his viewer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Dan has a BFA from Miami University, and an MFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, MD. He has also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and The Vermont Studio School. His works can be found in many significant collections. </span></p>
