Untitled, Sailboat, watercolor on paper. Carolyn Bradley studied art at Herron and improbably then taught stenography at Manuel High School for a number of years. She applied for and was hired by Ohio State University in the early 1930s to teach watercolor painting and costume design. She often traveled and painted during her summer vacations. She published three books on costume design. Beginning in 1945, Carolyn Bradley taught abroad in Chile and was enlisted as a United States Goodwill Ambassador and continued teaching abroad for a few years. Bradley was a contemporary of Alice Schille. Framed size: 20" ht. x 24" wd.
