A fine collection of Mexican Ex Voto devional paintings on tin assembled by Ann Meranus, with 12 varying 20th century examples, each unframed and on tin. These include: a cart being held up in a field, an injured acrobat, an elderly man in a kitchen interior, a schoolgirl in a courtyard who has fallen ill, a cattle injury, a horse injury, a nursery scene, a bullfighting injury, a kitchenmaid fallen ill, a shepherdess, a wounded figure on a horse, and finally a naive devotional retablo. A broad and varied 20th century grouping, with a diverse range of devotional subjects. Largest is 13" x 11".

From the collection of Ann M. Meranus, Cincinnati, OH. Ann was a lifelong philanthropist, civil servant, and supporter of artists.
